Norman Davis - A local life

curated by Tom O’Dell
25-27.04.2025

After 13 years of living in Camberwell, Tom O’Dell stumbled upon an extraordinary hoard of belongings outside 35 Camberwell Church Street awaiting the tip.  As he sifted through, it became clear that these items had belonged to a Mr Norman Davis.

Record players, books, bills, a driving licence, sculptures, household objects, even unopened bottles of wine — a lifetime of carefully kept possessions.

This exhibition celebrates the life of Norman Davis through objects he cherished. Together, they form a quiet portrait of a man, his home, and a life remembered through things.
