For the first birthday of outhouse gallery, Alicja Orzechowska has curated a group exhibition featuring local artists and art enthusiasts to explore the theme of home.

Home can be understood as a family home, the place we grew up and the place we revisit. We can also make a certain place feel like home, filling it with different objects important to us. We can find home in other people, both in an individual or in a broader community. Lastly, we can find a sense of home within ourselves, feeling comfortable and loved wherever we go.

Regardless of what home is to you, I hope you found it. Because everyone needs a place where they feel safe,heard, seen, and at peace in order to thrive.
